activities throughout County Monaghan
Monaghan Sports Partnership was established by the Irish Sports Council in 2006 and acts as a subsidiary of the County Development Board, supported by Monaghan County Council.
The Sports Partnership is charged with the delivery of a ‘sport and physical activity for all’ programme throughout the communities of County Monaghan.
This involves providing an opportunity for all age groups to avail of and engage in, a wide range of sporting activities including cycling, walking, keep fit and other recreational / leisure activities in a non-competitive way. We are seeking individuals or organisations that would be willing to coordinate the delivery of ‘sport for all’ activities in different geographical locations throughout County Monaghan.
The Sports Partnership will provide all necessary support, based on the specific details of each project being delivered – which must be line with the criteria of the Local Sports Partnership and its main funding body, the Irish Sports Council.
Interest parties should contact the Sports Partnership for further details of each project and request an expression of interest form which will require the expertise or ability of the individual or group to coordinate a successful programme of activity that is open and accessible to people of all ages.
Applicants should possess relevant qualifications (if necessary) or experience and a proven track record of engaging with local community and recruitment of target groups to participate in activities.

Successful applicants will be selected through a suitability process by an independent committee.
