Active School WALKWAY Resource Packs
The Active School WALKWAY initiative is a partnership between Get Ireland Walking and Active School Flag, supported by Healthy Ireland and the Sport Ireland Dormant Account Fund.
Active School WALKWAY packs were distributed to PRIMARY schools that are working towards the Active School Flag this year and that attended our spring workshops. The WALKWAY packs are currently available FREE of charge to schools with CURRENT ASF status – these are listed, by county, on the HOME PAGE on www.activeschoolflag.ie We would be grateful if you would raise awareness with the schools in your mailing database of this offer. Eligible schools can apply for their WALKWAY pack by registering online http://www.getirelandwalking.ie/schools/ BEFORE March 31st
Schools are encouraged to LAUNCH their WALKWAY route during national Active School Week (April 23-27) and to tweet a 30 second video of their launch event to be in with a chance to win a set of outdoor speakers for their school.
