Wheelchair basketball exhibition game in Dundalk
Louth Sports Partnership has invited The Manchester Mavericks over from Great Britain who some members have represented their country in the Paralympics, to compete against the Dundalk Ravens Wheelchair basketball club, in what promises to be a spectacular outdoor event, this never-before seen showpiece will attract major attention on the day as it will be situated in Dundalk’ s Town played on the Market Square.
The event will take place on Saturday 24th August 2013, with a start time of 12.30pm
Time table of events;
Start time: 12.30pm
1pm – 2pm Match 1. Dundalk Ravens Vs Manchester Mavericks
2pm – 3pm (Public get the chance to try out the chairs and win spot prizes)
3pm – 4pm Match 2. Dundalk Ravens Vs Manchester Mavericks
Finish time: 4.30pm
